I TURNED 25 THIS WEEKEND.
I have no job, no money, and according to my mother, no potential male suitors — but, that’s okay! Through thisopenspace.com, I decided to treat myself to a birthday photoshoot anyways.
Since my birthdays tend to be overly chaotic and extremely rushed, I always miss out on gram-worthy photos. “Pics or it didn’t happen”, am I right?! This year, I decided to avoid all that by renting a space. A little self-absorbed I know.. But hey, what do you expect from a generation of deluded narcissists?
A friend of mine recommended thisopenspace which lets you rent unique spaces for any occasion at reasonable prices. I instantly fell in love with Diptych Studio, a versatile multi-use studio with a mesmerizing plant aesthetic!
The space was beautiful, and had a rooftop available. Most importantly, the host was exceptionally friendly and very inviting. The whole experience was great — my only regret was bringing only one outfit!
Whether you’re looking for something rustic, modern, or botanical, Diptych Studio is ideal. However, there are several other distinctive spaces available in the Toronto area that can be used for meetings, production and events.
I’ve already picked out my favourites !
